THALAMUS

This extremely stable dwarf wheat exhibits significantly better performance and stability in terms of hectoliter weight compared to its predecessor variety, PEDRO. This DSV-bred variety is suitable for all milling wheat growing regions. This is confirmed, among other things, by the official yield results from the testing authority and the field trials conducted by the chambers of agriculture. Particularly noteworthy in THALAMUS are its excellent tolerances to powdery mildew (APS 2) and Septoria tritici (APS 4). Compared to the new yellow-striped varieties (APS 3), THALAMUS has so far generally demonstrated above-average resistance as well. A further improvement over PEDRO is also clearly evident in its falling number stability.
