000 - soybean
ABACA, an original Saatzucht Donau variety, sets a milestone in the very early 000 maturity segment. Although its maturity was officially rated APS 3, ABACA is closer in ripening behavior to ALEXA, Abelina and Merlin than to the somewhat later varieties MARQUISE, SULTANA or Aurelina. ABACA has an extremely rapid, but compact growth and exhibits adequate stability. Due to its above-average Sclerotinia tolerance, ABACA is especially suitable for soybean-intensive crop rotations. Within our range of soybean varieties, ABACA replaces the outdated ALEXA.
