Winter durum wheat

The winter durum variety AURADUR has been part of Probstdorfer Saatzucht’s portfolio since 2004 and continues to be regarded as the cornerstone of quality in domestic durum production—the “CAPO” of durum wheat, so to speak. Durum wheat farmers particularly value AURADUR for its optimal combination of yield potential, yield stability, good lodging resistance, and excellent quality characteristics—especially falling number, vitreousness, viscosity, and yellow pigment. In addition, AURADUR matures particularly early and can be harvested reliably before winter wheat. This proven high-quality durum variety is a reliable staple in the portfolio, especially for organic durum wheat production.
