KWS TOLANIS

Multi-rowed winter barley - fodder barley

Just like with the successful proprietary breeds, development also progresses with KWS genetics. Following the popular KWS TONIC and the still widely cultivated JOURNEY, a promising successor variety, KWS TOLANIS, is now being introduced to the market. Yielding a step ahead (APS 9 – grain yield), the new breed scores with improved lodging resistance and even better tolerance to Ramularia infections (level comparable to FREDERICA / INTEGRAL). Additionally, the large-grained KWS TOLANIS shows good resistance to powdery mildew and net blotch.
