Hybrid rye

KWS DETEKTOR has become widely established in practice as a variety with consistently stable yields and quality, even in years with highly variable weather conditions. KWS DETEKTOR excels with very high and stable yields, good nitrogen efficiency, and excellent grain development, as evidenced by high hectoliter weights. Particularly crucial for the main growing regions in the Mühlviertel and Waldviertel is its above-average tolerance to adverse weather conditions, on par with the high level of the population rye variety AMILO. With a falling number of APS 8 and an amylogram of APS 9, KWS DETEKTOR has the necessary reserves when rainfall pushes conditions to the limit at harvest time. Its particular suitability for the main rye-growing regions is underscored by the consistently excellent trial results from LK-Lower Austria over several years.
