DANKOWSKIE TURKUS

Population rye

Polish breeder DANKO guarantees high quality. In addition to the popular main variety AMILO, Probstdorfer Saatzucht decided to extend their portfolio of exquisite rye varieties with the introduction of DANKOWSKIE TURKUS to the Austrian market. DANKOWSKIE TURKUS showed stellar performances in previous official yield trials in every production area, making it the undisputed number one in the population rye portfolio. DANKOWSKIE TURKUS has a much more compact growth and higher stability than any other local population variety. Under direct comparison with AMILO, DANKOWSKIE TURKUS shows slightly lower falling number and amylogram values. However, this does not pose a problem in most rye cultivation areas (e.g. arid areas), because in these regions, many producers are very often faced with flours slightly weak in enzymes.
