FURIOUS

Winter pea

FURIOUS can be seen as the successor to the popular BALKAN. Not only does FURIOUS convince with very high plant stability and overall well-balanced agronomic traits. Due to its superior frost tolerance, the white-flowering tendril type pea managed to deliver outstanding yield perfomance over the last couple of years – even on locations with an elevated risk of frost damage. Moreover, FURIOUS delivers excellent plant stability. We recommend a seed rate of 100 grains/m2 (decent, profound soils) up to 120 grains/m2 (inferior soils). In organic farming, winter peas make an ideal preceding crop for organic quality wheat production. Usually, the ideal sowing time of winter peas is in the first half of October, slightly before that of wheat.
