Winter triticale
The proven and extemely popular FREDRO is considered the most straightforward triticale variety. Similar to the unfortunately already discontinued POLEGO, there is not much one can do wrong with FREDRO. FREDRO is extemely winter hardy, has medium growth and is very stable. Like TRICANTO, FREDRO shows significantly better outgrowth tolerance. Resistances against all relevant diseases (mildew, brown and yellow rust) are pronounced distinctively. Therefore, FREDRO is the perfect choice for typical sideline farmers that might not always be able to take action at the right time.
