FINOLA

Multi-rowed winter barley - fodder barley

The multi-row, original Probstdorfer variety FINOLA sets new standards in yield security and hectoliter weight. The combination of very early head development (APS 2) and early maturity (APS 4) results in an extended grain filling phase. This means that FINOLA will already have reached an advanced grain development stage during the start of the first heat wave in the middle of June. This results in higher yields and clearly higher hectoliter weights when compared to varieties that reach maturity at a later date. FINOLA also has excellent stem rupture stability at maturity (stem rupture APS 3, head rupture APS 2). The official results of the AGES trials attest FINOLA’s high production value in all winter barley regions.
