In 2021 and 2022, the medium-late maturing oil sunflower SURELI showed excellent yield performance in the official trials. SURELI takes slightly longer to reach maturity. However, this should not pose a problem in the main oil sunflower production areas because – just like with grain corn and soybean – the harvest windows for sunflower are gradually expanding. SURELI shines with superior yields (up to +10 %) than its competitors, brings high Sklerotinia tolerance and significantly surpasses several rival varieties in oil content (APS 8) and oil yield. In the perennial AGES sunflower trials, SURELI achieved an average oil content of 52,6 %.
