KWS KEITUM

Fodder wheat (BQG appr. 2) - beardless wheat

The new feed wheat is being offered this year in Austria for the first time with great acclaim from all German cultivation areas. For example, the KWS breed dominated the LSV trials from 2020 to 2022 almost at will. KWS KEITUM combines an early to medium ear emergence with a medium-late maturity (APS 6) and is particularly suitable for cultivation after grain maize in the finishing region due to its very good Fusarium rating. The tolerances to powdery mildew, brown rust and yellow rust infections are also above average. Under intensive production conditions, the use of growth regulators should definitely be planned. KWS KEITUM is currently also marketed as brewing wheat in Germany.
