BRV2604D

Grain corn - FAO 370 - Z

The medium-late maturing dent type hybrid BRV2604D is the first product from the cooperation between BREVANT and Probstdorfer Saatzucht. For a dent type breed, the powerful hybrid shows fairly rapid youth development, can excellently manage periods with limited precipitation and shows fast dry-down behavior at the end of the ripening process. Moreover, BRV2604D was rated APS 9 (top score!) in yield performance. Its impressive performance in the 2022 AGES trials could also be confirmed by outstanding results in multiple internal field trials and in the independent trials of the Austrian Chamber of Agriculture. BRV2604D performs well in both regions with ideal growing conditions as well as in regions with intense drought stress – a pivotal trait for future corn production under increasingly extreme weather conditions.
