TILLSANO

This early-maturing awned wheat is the first high-yielding organic wheat variety with stable resistance to stone rot. In a direct comparison with the stone-rot-resistant varieties listed to date, TILLSANO was able to match the yield of the leading variety, CAPO. Its good resistance to powdery mildew, brown rust, and Fusarium perfectly rounds out TILLSANO’s positive agronomic profile. In terms of the indirect, payment-relevant quality criteria of hectoliter weight and protein content, this organic variety is certainly comparable to many varieties classified as premium wheat (e.g., CHRISTOPH, Bernstein).
