HO-sunflower
The new sulfo-tolerant HO sunflower impressed in official registration trials with very high and stable yield performance, above-average oil content, low stem breakage, and excellent tolerance to powdery mildew and Phoma infections. In the 2024 harvest year, powdery mildew was a more significant issue regionally than in previous years. In terms of maturity, this promising new variety falls between TUTTI and Subeo. As with SURELI, SUBELIO and SUOMI, weed control for SULIANO can also be carried out post-emergence using the active ingredient tribenuron-methyl (Express SX, etc.).
