LG APHRODITE

Hybrid canola

The latest product from Limagrain’s canola breeding program was registered in Austria in 2023 after optimal testing. Simultaneously, the first domestic seed production was established. LG APHRODITE is currently Austria’s officially highest-yielding canola variety. Compared to ARCHITECT, LG APHRODITE blooms slightly earlier at the same maturity, thereby extending the post-floral period for grain filling, resulting in a significant yield increase, confirmed with APS 9 in grain- and oil yield. Agronomically, it is particularly advantageous due to its excellent stem health, especially against sclerotinia infections (APS 2).
