LG APHRODITE

Hybrid canola

The LIMAGRAIN variety LG APHRODITE, registered in the fall of 2023, has since become one of the preferred rapeseed varieties, particularly in humid and transitional growing regions, and demand for it is increasing year after year—not only in those areas. In a direct comparison with its predecessor, ARCHITECT, LG APHRODITE flowers slightly earlier while maturing at the same rate; this extends the post-flowering period for grain filling and thus ensures a significant yield increase, confirmed by an APS 8 rating for grain yield and an APS 9 rating for oil yield. From an agronomic perspective, its excellent stem health—particularly against Sclerotinia infections (APS 3)—and its above-average lodging resistance (APS 4), despite the robust individual plants, are especially advantageous.
