THIMEA

Multi-rowed winter barley - fodder barley

The highly nitrogen-efficient multi-row THIMEA is considered the most visually appealing multi-row winter barley in Austria. It combines the highest and exceptionally stable grain yields with excellent grain quality, as evidenced by top hectoliter weights (on par with Adalina). As a result, this new, highly stable variety is the ideal solution for the major winter barley-growing regions in Lower Austria, Upper Austria, and Styria. A unique selling point of THIMEA is its excellent tolerance to snow mold infections. In the Probstdorf variety portfolio, THIMEA has now replaced the long-established CARIOCA and serves as the ideal complement to the main varieties SEVILLA and KWS TOLANIS.
