ARONIO

Premium wheat (BQG 7) - unbearded wheat

ARONIO was registered as the highest yielding quality wheat breed in Austria in December 2022. Similar to MIDAS, ARONIO realizes its high yield perfomance with thinner populations, a high number of grains/head and very high thousand grain weights. Furthermore, ARONIO has early head development and shows only little to medium susceptibilities of the new brown rust variants. Due to its excellent baking quality, ARONIO delivers high loaf volumes, even with medium protein contents – earning ARONIO a spot in baking quality group 7.
