MIDAS

Premium wheat (BQG 7) - bearded wheat

Our premium wheat MIDAS was able to prove itself during the extreme weather conditions of the last couple of years, making it one of the most stable-yielding wheat varieties on the Austrian market. Moreover, MIDAS has excellent mildew and Fusarium resistance. On locations with more powerful soils, MIDAS requires 15-20 kg more nitrogen during late fertilization, while simultaneously achieving up to 1000 kg/ha more in yield than other, more extensive wheat varieties. Just like MESSINO, MIDAS shows a pronounced tolerance of late sowing. As a pronounced single-head-type, MIDAS reaches its highest yields with medium population densities and high single head yields.
