AMILO

Population rye

Probstdorfer Saatzucht introduced the population rye variety AMILO into their portfolio in 1997. This longevity certainly has its reasons. AMILO has the highest falling number, which makes it still very popular among farmers, especially in years with delayed harvests due to adverse weather. Furthermore, veteran AMILO still performs very well in comparison with newer rivals, making him the number one rye variety for quality conscious farmers in the Wald- and Mühlviertel.
