SEVILLA

Multi-rowed winter barley - fodder barley

The multi-row new variety was registered in December 2024 with the highest yield rating, APS 9, across all regions. The sufficiently lodging-resistant SEVILLA combines early ear emergence with medium maturity. The resulting extended post-flowering period, under normal ripening weather, ensures high yield gains. SEVILLA also performs very well under drought stress and will in future complement the main variety FINOLA in dry locations. SEVILLA shows very good resistance to rhynchosporium and net blotch, allowing fungicide management to focus on dwarf rust and any possible ramularia infections.
