Winter spelt
The excellent combination of high grain yields and decent straw yields makes ATTERGAUER DINKEL the ideal variety for all spelt growing regions. Under the harsh environment of the main spelt production areas in the Waldviertel and Mühlviertel regions of Austria, ATTERGAUER DINKEL can show its excellent winter hardiness. Basically, spelt varieties are sensitive to yellow rust. However, ATTERGAUER DINKEL outperforms rival varieties with improved yellow rust tolerance and better falling number development and stability.
