The two-rowed winter barley breed LG CALVIN showed superior yield perfomances in both the arid and humid production areas of Austria. LG CALVIN is rated APS 7 in nitrogen efficiency, enabling it to easily utilize the available nitrogen in the soil and then effectively converting it into pleasing yields. Moreover, LG CALVIN features excellent plant stability and outstanding stem rupture stability, making it perfectly suitable for cultivation under intensive production conditions. At launch, LG CALVIN will be treated with the seed-applied nutrition „WUXAL“.
