SIEGFRIED

Milling wheat (BQG 4) - beardless wheat

The extremely powerful SIEGFRIED (baking quality group 4) is very adaptable regarding its cultivation area. SIEGFRIED is rated APS 8 for grain yield in drier areas as well as in areas with increased precipitation. The genetic drought tolerance can be considered a significant advantage, especially in times with increasing drought periods in the traditional milling wheat production areas. Regarding agronomic traits, SIEGFRIED shines with its very good stability, excellent yellow rust tolerance and superior mildew and Fusarium resistance. Moreover, grain quality is on a very high level as well. SIEGFRIED also has high flour yields, good protein content and falling number values.
