Two-rowed winter fodder barley

With its long, overhanging ears, this two-row feed barley is not only a visual asset to the domestic winter barley lineup. BIANCA has consistently performed very well under the wide range of weather conditions experienced in recent years. BIANCA’s balanced leaf health is particularly noteworthy. Especially in terms of resistance to the difficult-to-control Ramularia leaf spot disease, BIANCA ranks among the healthier two-row varieties. In addition, it is better able to withstand yellow dwarf virus (BYDV) infections than most other two-row varieties. As a result, BIANCA has become a staple in the organic winter barley lineup. In many growing regions, BIANCA ranks among the highest-yielding and most consistent two-row winter barley varieties, both in terms of grain yield and marketable grain.
