Multi-rowed winter barley - fodder barley

This multi-row, high-yielding variety, registered last year, is suitable for any location. Following its successful launch in Austria, SEVILLA is already being propagated on a large scale both in traditional European dryland regions (Hungary, Slovakia, Croatia) and in Germany. This underscores the excellent adaptability of this new variety. SEVILLA, which is highly resistant to lodging and has extremely strong stalks, combines early heading with medium maturity. The resulting longer post-flowering period ensures high yield increases under normal ripening conditions. SEVILLA also copes very well with drought stress and will complement the main variety, FINOLA, in dry locations in the future. SEVILLA exhibits very good resistance to Rhynchosporium and net spots; fungicide management can therefore be focused on dwarf rust and any Ramularia infections.
