00 - soybean
With the introduction of the new 00 breed AUSTRALIA, the successful domestic soybeen breeding program of Saatzucht Donau keeps proceeding further. AUSTRALIA dominated the official admission trials of the last two years and was registered in December 2022 als the highest-yielding 00 soybean breed in Austria. AUSTRALIA has a clear hilum and shows decent plant stability. Its proficient resistances against Peronospora, as well as viral and bacterial infections round off an already appealing package. Moreover, AUSTRALIA can be treated with the agent Metribuzin, making it suitable for areas with increased presence of ambrosia.
