ethanol wheat (BQG appr. 5) - bearded wheat
The short-strawed and bearded GAUDIO is ideal for ethanol wheat production under arid growing conditions. GAUDIO combines outstanding yield potential, reliable and very early maturity and superb stability required for intensive wheat production. According to the Austrian classification scheme, the milling wheat GAUDIO is rated 5 in baking quality. However, it has already been established as a EU-breed in Hungary. In years of insufficient price differentiation within the individual quality segments, the demand for high-yielding and reliable milling wheat breeds is naturally increasing, even in the main regions of premium wheat production. GAUDIO is the top pick for ethanol or milling wheat production in arid areas.
