Hybrid canola
The new high-performance hybrid UMBERTO KWS will be replacing the popular GORDON KWS in fall 2021. Just like its predecessor, the new breed knows how to convince with rapid youth development in fall, which makes UMBERTO KWS the perfect fit for late cultivation in mid-September. Although being brand new, UMBERTO KWS has already managed to be one of the top selling rapeseed hybrids in Southeast Europe. The reason for that is mostly due to its extremely high tolerance of dry stress, as well as its ability to withstand higher concentrations of Clomazones in its root area as a consequence of heavy precipitations after the herbicide application. Just like ARCHITECT, UMBERTO KWS shows distinct pod rupture stability during the later stages of maturation – a significant factor for excellent yield stability.
