WANDA

Two-rowed winter malting barley

WANDA is the first early maturing winter malting barley variety in our portfolio that has excellent stem rupture stability. WANDA is very mildew tolerant, but shows slightly higher sensibility to leaf rust and net blotch. Therefore, the main fungicide application should take place as soon as the first awns are visible. Excellent grain sorting grades and medium protein contents are the basic requirements for superb malting barley quality.
