KWS SOLANUS

Spring soft wheat (BQG 7)

KWS SOLANUS replaced the two previous varieties KWS Collada and SK Kronjet in 2019, while simultaneously clearly outperforming them in yield performance and several other agronomic properties. KWS SOLANUS is rated very early in both head development and maturity, an essential advantage in areas of predominantly late harvests. When it comes to quality, the mildew tolerant KWS SOLANUS shows very pronounced hectoliter weight, protein and gluten contents, eventually classifying it into the premium wheat segment (baking quality group 7), although clearly achieving higher yields than all milling wheat varieties in comparison.
