Spring oat

Even under very dry conditions (e.g. 2018), the early maturing quality spring oat variety SAMSON was able to convince in the AGES trials and in first practical experiments. Due to its excellent stability, SAMSON is able to handle even the most vigorous growing conditions on many locations in Styria and Carinthia. The superior leaf health, especially regarding mildew and crown rust infections, as well as the good tolerance of non-parasitic oat redness, can be considered absolutely positive and, eventually, determining of the yield.
