ELEKTRA

Spring malting barley

ELEKTRA has proven itself during the difficult growing periods of 2018 and 2019 by reaching higher yields and distinctly better sieving values than the other varieties in comparison. The agronomically favorable combination of extremely early head development and significantly earlier maturity makes ELEKTRA suitable for the increasingly occurring years with early summer drought. Furthermore, the high quality of ELEKTRA makes it the perfect choice of the malting industry. Low protein levels and superior sorting grades, paired with high extract yields, low beta glucan contents and a clear wort color build the main pillars of ELEKTRA’s excellent malting qualities. ELEKTRA also scored predominantly positively in the winter sowing trials of spring barley.
