SY GLORIUS

Grain & silage corn - FAO 300 - Hz

The new Syngenta variety SY GLORIUS was enlisted into the Austrian variety register with a maturity number of 300 in December 2019. The new large-scale flint-type corn variety (with only minor dent fractions, Hz) shines with extremely fast development during its early stages, very good stability and a low stalk rupture tendency. The results of the official testings carried out by the Austrian Chamber of Agriculture in Upper Austria, Lower Austria and Carinthia were very impressive, both in grain as well as in silage corn. SY GLORIUS surpassed the testing average either slightly (101 %) or clearly (116 %). In the field of middle-early maturity, SY GLORIUS can be seen as a serious alternative to the previous main varieties for both sale and intra-farm use for pig feeding.
