ES KATAMARAN

Grain corn - RZ 260 - Zh

ES KATAMARAN is an early maturing dent-type corn with a rather compact growth (height APS 4), excellent stability and pronounced drought tolerance. The new Euralis variety was enlisted into the Austrian variety register in 2018, after a very positive test period. In the 2 years of testing, the performance of several similarly maturing varieties in comparison was at least matched or clearly outperformed. For a dent-type corn, ES KATAMARAN is exceptionally fast in the stages of early development. Moreover, ES KATAMARAN matures evenly and swiftly, which saves a lot of energy during post-harvest drying. The seed strength spans from 70,000 to 75,000 grains/ha on light soils and over 75,000 to 80,000 grains/ha on middle and heavy soils.
