PRESTO

Winter triticale

The popular PRESTO convinces with superior winter hardiness (APS 2), extremely early head development (APS 2) and very early maturity (APS 3). Furthermore, PRESTO’s tolerance of brown rust (APS 4) and yellow rust infections (APS 3) remain stable and it is able to achieve above-average grain yields. This makes PRESTO the first choice in many production areas in Austria’s Walviertel and Mühlviertel, as well as under more extensive conditions in Carinthia, Styria and more arid areas. PRESTO is also very popular among organic farmers in almost all production areas.
