Hybrid rye
With KWS DETEKTOR, a new, extremely powerful KWS-hybrid enhances the already very popular range of Probstdorfer quality rye varieties. As a perfect complement to KWS FLORANO, the new breed shines with very high and stable yield performance, decent nitrogen efficiency and excellent grain qualities in the form of high hectoliter weights. Furthermore, its superior tolerance of adverse weather conditions is on par with that of the population rye breed AMILO. With its excellent falling number (APS 8) and amylogram value (APS 9) ratings, KWS DETEKTOR surely has enough reserves in case of poor weather conditions during harvest.
