Oil sunflower
The extremely high-yielding oil sunflower variety SY BACARDI dominates with superior yield performance in all cultivation areas. SY BACARDI possesses “Clearfield plus” herbicide tolerance (CLP) and can be treated post-emergence with Pulsar plus (agent Imazamox) since 2017. Compared to the conventional Clearfield system, Pulsar plus shows enhanced effects on typical weeds like burr, chamomile, pigweed, thistle and wild oats. SY BACARDI combines medium growth with decent stability, a minor percentage of ruptured plants and pronounced drought tolerance (e.g. the arid summers of 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2019). Regarding maturity, SY BACARDI can be classified between the standard varieties ALEXANDRA PR and NK Delfi.
