Spring triticale
The spring triticale variety MAMUT was developed by the same breeder that introduced the popular PRESTO, Kitaro, FREDRO and KASYNO. MAMUT combines stable yield performance with excellent stability and leaf health, especially towards mildew, brown rust and Fusarium. MAMUT has medium-early maturity and slightly shorter growth than the previously cultivated summer triticale TRIMMER. Even under the dry conditions of 2017 and 2018, MAMUT performed decently and reached stable hectoliter weights.
