Spring fodder barley
The fodder barley variety ELFRIEDE was developed in the Walviertel region of Austria and is a perfect fit for our domestic fodder barley growing regions. ELFRIEDE has a lenghty stalk and combines best grain yields with decent stability and adequate straw yields on par with the already established EUNOVA. Moreover, particular worthy of mention is its distinct leaf healthiness, with an absolute mildew resistance and excellent leaf rust and net blotch tolerances. As a nitrogen-efficient variety, ELFRIEDE is able to optimally utilize the fertilizers provided.
