ELDACAR

Grain corn - RZ 450 - Z

ELDACAR can be considered an absolutely competitive grain corn breed in the late ripening area. ELDACAR achieved excellent yields during its testing period, particularly on AGES sites in Lower Austria and Burgenland. This has also been confirmed regularly in the LSV-trials of the Austrian Chamber of Agriculture. ELDACAR also shines with pronounced drought tolerance and only minor tendencies to form undesirable runners. Despite its high maturity number, ELDACAR shows nearly perfect ripening behavior. The superior stability and its minor tendency to cob rupture make ELDACAR a well-rounded corn breed worth growing from the semi-arid regions of Austria to Southern Burgenland.
